Liu is a medical student at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Born and raised in Qingdao, China, he moved to the U.S. in 2019 and earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. Zeyu has conducted research in surgery and vascular disease, focusing on diabetes and hemostasis, and has also worked as an Emergency Medicine Technician. He is currently involved in surgical outcome research and is passionate about pursuing a career in surgery.
