About

From Beijing, China and attended the University of Chicago, where she pursued the B.S./M.S. Degree in Biochemistry and a B.A. in French. At UChicago, she conducted organic chemistry and medical anthropology research, worked as a Resident Assistant and Teaching Assistant for biochemistry, taught piano through a free music program, and interpreted at the Bridgeport Free Clinic. For my first gap year, she worked in immuno-oncology at Genentech in South San Francisco. I also volunteered at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and studied for the MCAT. Then, she moved across the world to become a Global Writing and Speaking Fellow at NYU Shanghai. Ask her questions about study strategies, the application process, on-campus and gap year employment, how to prepare for the MCAT, and applying for financial aid as an international student.
