Dr. Yannis Valtis is a resident in internal medicine and pediatrics at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. He is interested in global oncology and cancer in adolescent and young adult patients.
Yannis grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece, and came to the United States for college on an F1 visa. He attended Harvard College and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Human Regenerative and Developmental Biology after authoring his senior thesis on the brain stem cell niche. After college, Yannis worked for the Boston Consulting Group, where he assisted philanthropic foundations and non-governmental organizations in strategic planning. He subsequently returned to Boston to attend Harvard Medical School. He graduated cum laude in 2018.
