Venkat Suru is a Canadian D.O. candidate of Indian origin at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of Cincinnati. During medical school, Venkat served as Vice President of his class and as a student representative on the Diversity Committee. He played a key role in leading student initiatives that catered to underserved populations in his local community. Venkat also conducted research at the Cleveland Clinic, where he analyzed functional outcomes in patients diagnosed with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. Having completed his third year of medical school, he aspires to match in 2024. Venkat is happy to answer any questions regarding the pre-med journey, medical school application process, international status, and residency applications.
