About

David is an Internal Medicine resident at Yale New Haven Hospital. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology at UC San Diego, where he also participated in preclinical research work in behavioral neuroscience. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he prioritized building a strong clinical foundation through preclinical coursework and clerkships. He also furthered his passion for clinical translational research through participating in research projects, including a clinical trial on advanced thymic epithelial tumors, preclinical research using zebrafish xenograft, retrospective reviews, and clinical case series/reports. He also volunteered as a teacher in ESL programs and in free clinics serving underserved populations in Washington D.C. who resided in transitional housing.

A firm believer that “it takes a village” to train tomorrow’s physicians, David has been honored to mentor aspiring medical students on F1 Doctors since 2022. He has dedicated himself to understanding his mentees’ aspirations and challenges, so that he can help them navigate the application and training journey. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss medical-school applications, life in med school, or choosing your specialty.
