Therese Anne Limbana was born and raised in the Philippines. She migrated in the US to work
as a nurse and served as a front-liner during the global pandemic. She worked in Albany
Medical Center and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at the Intensive Care Unit and
Endoscopy Department. Therese received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Cum Laude from St.
Paul University, and her MD from West Visayas State University, both in the Philippines. Her
goal is to live her life in service, and life-long learning. She currently is working on her Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic
Medicine, graduating in 2025. She wanted to be a dermatologist and had authored numerous
peer-reviewed publications in dermatology and psychiatry.
