My name is Sara, and I'm an OMS-2 at a DO school here in the US. Getting into medical school as a foreigner is an uphill battle and it can be incredibly stressful and frustrating. I wish I had a mentor when I was an undergraduate, so that's why I'm applying to be one now. Good mentors are the foundation for success. Please know that you are not alone! I did research in a biochemistry lab for two years during my gap years. I also spent some time with family and friends, went to concerts, and just had a great time!
