Radek Buss
About
Radek is a first-generation medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from St. Norbert College. At St. Norbert, he researched potential cancer chemotherapeutics in Dr. Feirer’s lab and served as a Teaching Assistant for several courses. In addition, Radek was also greatly involved in student life as a Resident Assistant and a Vice President of Student Government Association while serving as a mentor for younger students through various organizations on campus. At MCW, Radek has been heavily involved in quality improvement work, mainly in the realm of pediatric surgery. In light of the pandemic, Radek has been volunteering as a telehealth student doctor at a clinic for the uninsured and providing vaccines to members of the community. In his free time, he loves to travel, play sports, and meet new people. Fun fact: Radek has a twin brother who is studying law at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
