Penny is currently an internal medicine resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. Born and raised in China, she attended college at Harvard University, where she majored in Applied Math and minored in Global Health and Health Policy. During college, she found her passion for medicine and math, and was excited to be able to integrate her interests through computational biology research. She stayed in Boston for medical school in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program, where she continued to enjoy biomodeling research and community service. She hopes to become an internist and computational biology researcher who can offer individualized, safe, efficacious care to patients.
