Payal Sethi
About
Payal is a first-generation East Indian-Canadian studying Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine. She received her Bachelors of Biological Science from the University of Calgary. As an undergrad, Payal devoted her time to volunteering, some of which include: the Alberta Children's Hospital, UNICEF, Canadian Blood Services, and the Science Mentorship Program. In addition to this, Payal spent a month as a Green Lion International Volunteer in Bali teaching Healthcare and constructing a rural school.
She is now a Peer Tutor for Anatomy at CSPM, engaged in Foot and Ankle Research, and an Editor and International Delegate for Hallux Magazine & PrePodiatry Life. Payal is the recipient of the CSPM Dean's Entrance Scholarship and the Charles Johnson DPM Scholarship. Besides medicine and volunteerism, Payal is passionate about living an active lifestyle and travel.
