I am currently a medical student at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I majored in Neurobiology. I took two gap years, one doing research in the U.S. and one in Brazil. Happy to help other international students pursuing medical school!

For my first gap year I stayed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I did brain development neuroimaging research. For my second gap year I worked for a startup in São Paulo doing neonatal brain research.
