About

I am a current medical student at West Virginia University School of medicine. I grew up in Nigeria before moving to the United States for higher education. I received my undergraduate degree in in biological sciences and minor in chemistry. During my time college, I served as the national liaison for minority association of pre-health students and spent time tutoring. I also became a Hamilton Research Scholar for participating in genetics research. During my gap years before medical school, I gained clinical experience working as a Medical Scribe in the ED and some clinical research experience as a research assistant working on drug development and clinical trials at Praedicare, a biotechnology company. I currently serve as the social chair for student national medical association and medical school representative for Students for global health. I am happy to work with and answer any questions related to preparing for medical school during undergrad, the medical school application process, the interviewing process, etc.
