About
He currently a first-year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is fortunate to be supported by a full COA scholarship. Originally from Tanzania, he is a first-generation and low-income student, with a strong interest in neuroscience, especially where it intersects with global health. My goal is to address health disparities and contribute to improving medical care on an international scale.
He completed my undergraduate studies at Washington and Lee University, where he majored in Neuroscience with a minor in Data Science, graduating in 2023.
My goal is to address health disparities and contribute to improving medical care on an international scale. Before starting medical school, he spent a gap year working in drug discovery at a biotech startup, which gave him valuable insights into the intersection of research and clinical application.
Talk to him about navigating the medical school application process, crafting your application, taking a gap year, negotiating financial aid, or exploring interests in global health, he would be happy to share my experiences and offer any guidance I can.
