Jack Tang
About
Jack is a third-year medical student at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He grew up in Toronto, then completed his B.S. at McGill University in Montreal. After graduation, Jack spent some time abroad in Paris, before joining a lab at Washington University in St. Louis to develop CAR (Chimeric Antigen Receptor) Antigen Presenting Cells as a new approach in cancer immunotherapy. Jack decided to dual apply to MD and MD/PhD programs and ultimately decided on the MD-only route. Talk to Jack if you have questions about finding gap year jobs (and TN visas!), dual applying, or how to finesse an H1B visa during residency!
