Emanuella is a Brazilian student that graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Human Nutrition and Global Engagement. She was part of NSU’s Dual DO program which allowed her to start her undergraduate studies with a seat reserved in their Osteopathic Medicine program. With an interest in global issues and multiculturalism, Emanuella received NSU’s Razor’s Edge Global scholarship which allowed her to conduct community and volunteer driven projects throughout her college years. She also served as an international student mentor and admission’s ambassador on campus. Apart from that, Emanuella served as a medical assistant at a local doctor’s office in Fort Lauderdale, conducted research at the Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine, and interned at Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research.
