Chiara is a first-year medical student at Emory School of Medicine. Born and raised in Milan, she graduated in 2018 from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Neuroscience and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. As an undergrad, she was involved as a social chair for the Assembly of International Students, was the founder and president of the UPenn Figure Skating Club, and worked in a research lab at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Chiara spent two gap-years before medical school working as a medical scribe and a clinical research coordinator. As a re-applicant and an international student who applied to US, UK, and Irish medical schools, Chiara is now very familiar with the application system and would love to mentor any student applying to medical school in the US or abroad.
