Catherine Wang

About
Catherine is a Canadian medical student at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She received her undergraduate B.S in Microbial Biology from U.C. Berkeley. During her time in college, Catherine was a skater on the Cal Figure Skating Team, serving on the executive board and leading the team to national finals, and worked with children with disabilities through the Special Needs Aquatic Program. Following her undergraduate degree, Catherine attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she received her Master of Science in Law degree and gained a passion for the interdisciplinary aspect of medicine. She then worked in the Bay Area at Medtronic in their Coronary and Structural Heart Disease Management division. At UIC, Catherine is part of the Clinician Executive Medicine Program and is currently involved in the establishment of a Chicago-wide medical-legal partnership clinic.
