Anastasia Ardasheva
About
Anastasia is an MD-PhD student at the University of Oxford. She is currently in her first year of the PhD in Inflammatory and Musculoskeletal Diseases. She grew up in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the US at 17 to study. After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at Juniata College, PA, she worked at Yale University, where she did hematology research. Anastasia moved to the UK for her master’s in Cancer Biology at Imperial College London after receiving multiple rejections from US medical schools. In 2020, she got admitted to medical school at the University of Oxford. Anastasia completed two years of the Graduate Entry Medicine course at Oxford before starting a PhD.
