Rachel is a student at the Yale School of Medicine. Born and raised in Lebanon, she holds a BS in biochemistry from Yale College, Class of 2020. During her time in college, Rachel was involved with the Arab Student Association and Global Medical Brigades and served as co-President of Yale Unicef. She also worked as an undergraduate research assistant experience in neurogenetics and structural biology, an EMT, and a science tutor. A native Arabic speaker, she frequently volunteered as a translator for Arabic-speaking families and patients in New Haven.
