Carlotta is a rising fourth-year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. She is the first person in her family to pursue medicine and does not have any relatives in the United States. She received her undergraduate B.S in Biology with double-minors in Italian Literature and Health Studies from Haverford College. During her time in medical school she has served as Co-President for Refugee Health Partners and has been very involved with JeffHOPE, SKMC's student run clinic at homeless shelters across Philadelphia.
